The four Lifeline package builds and what each one costs
One SKU, DCF-100-1, four configurations. None of the seven ranking sellers prices the four together; AED Leader and Response Ready list them as options on one page. Read from the AED Leader Store API and listing on 18 September 2026.[1][2]
| Build | SKU | Package | Bare device | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Semi-automatic, 5-year battery | DCF-A100-EN-VP | $1,541.50 | $1,478.80 | Trained staff, staffed hours |
| Semi-automatic, 7-year battery | DCF-A110-EN-VP | $1,598.15 | $1,535.45 | Trained staff, long inspection gaps |

Defibtech Lifeline AED package price against the packages that rank
We read the ranking pages for “Defibtech Lifeline AED package”, “package price” and “bundle” on 18 September 2026. Three patterns: cabinet packages (business), responder packages with extra pads and no cabinet, and mobile packages with a backpack.[4][5][6][7][8][9]

Business, school or church: which build and which cabinet
| Site | Build | Cabinet | Add |
|---|---|---|---|
| Office, shop | Semi-automatic, 5-year | Included (large, non-alarmed) | Nothing for 1 to 4 units; see AEDs for offices |
| School, daycare | Fully automatic, 5-year | Alarmed ($152.15) or alarm and strobe ($177.65) | Pediatric pads $130.25; see school packages |
| Church, community hall | Fully automatic, 7-year | Included | Wall poster at the entrance; see AEDs for churches |
| Sports field, outdoor site | Semi-automatic, 7-year | Included, or carry case only | IP54 and the 7-year battery suit sites without mains power; see AEDs for sports |
If the responders will be trained staff who want CPR depth feedback, the ZOLL AED Plus value package at $2,144.70 is the alternative; if budget decides, the HeartSine 350P package at $1,463.80 is $77.70 less but carries a four-year Pad-Pak instead of a 7-year battery option.[2]
The running cost nobody prints next to the package price
The Lifeline is the cheapest of the three budget packages to keep alive: pads every two years at $75.15 and a battery every five or seven years.[1][3]
Five-year consumables on the 5-year build: two pads sets at $75.15 and one DBP-1400 at $229.10, AED Leader prices 18 September 2026.[1]
The package name that hides two different devices
Trap: “Defibtech Lifeline AED Package” can mean A100 or A130
The same package name covers four builds that differ by $180.35. A seller quoting $1,541.50 is quoting the semi-automatic, 5-year battery build (A100); a seller quoting $1,721.85 is quoting fully automatic with the 7-year battery (A130). Compare the SKU suffix, not the name. AED Leader shows all four as options; some sellers list only one and do not say which.[1]
Second check: warranty wording. American AED prints 7 years, AED Leader and HeartSmart print 8. Ask the seller to put the warranty term on the invoice.[1][4][6]
Verdict: buy the package, pick the 7-year battery
Buy the Defibtech Lifeline AED Package if you want the simplest two-button AED on a wall with the cabinet and signage already in the box. The $62.70 premium is less than half the cabinet price, and the $150 cart discount at AED Leader takes the semi-automatic build to $1,391.50 at checkout.[1]
Take the 7-year battery unless the unit will be inspected monthly by the same person; take fully automatic if the likely responder is not CPR-trained. Skip the Lifeline if your responders are trained and you want compression depth feedback: that is the ZOLL AED Plus.

Questions buyers ask about the Lifeline package
What is the Defibtech Lifeline Auto AED?
The Lifeline AUTO is the fully automatic version of the same defibrillator: after analysis it counts down and delivers the shock itself instead of asking you to press the button. In this package it is the “Fully-Automatic (Auto Shock)” option, $1,660 with the 5-year battery or $1,721.85 with the 7-year battery at AED Leader (checked 18 September 2026). Pads, cabinet, case and kit are identical to the semi-automatic build.[1]
How much does an AED kit cost?
A complete Lifeline kit with cabinet and signage runs $1,523 to $1,861.30 across the sellers that rank for it; AED Leader and Response Ready list the package at $1,541.50 (semi-automatic, 5-year battery) with a $150 automatic cart discount at AED Leader. Kits without a cabinet, such as aed.com’s First Responder Package at $1,782.57 or its backpack Portable Package at $1,989.99, cost more because they add pads sets and bags rather than a wall cabinet.[1][2][5][6][7]
How to check Lifeline AED?
Look at the status indicator on the front: the Lifeline runs daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly self-tests and the indicator shows readiness. Then check the two dates on the package’s inspection card: pads two years from purchase, battery five years (DBP-1400) or seven years (DBP-2800). A failed self-test shows on the indicator; replace the battery first, then the pads.[3]
How long does the Defibtech Lifeline battery last?
Five years standby for the standard DBP-1400 pack (125 shocks or 8 hours) and seven years for the high-capacity DBP-2800 (300 shocks or 16 hours), per Defibtech, with the 9-volt monitoring battery installed. The 7-year option adds $56.65 to the package price at AED Leader; a replacement DBP-1400 is $229.10.[1][3]
Does Defibtech have a long life battery for one of its AEDs?
Yes, the DBP-2800 7-year pack, the longest standby battery among the public-access AEDs we cover. It is the “High Capacity 7-Year Battery” option in this package. Sites that go years between inspections (churches, remote fields, second units) should take it.[3]
What is the cheapest brand of AED defibrillator?
By package price with a cabinet, the HeartSine 350P package at $1,463.80 is the floor, then the Defibtech Lifeline at $1,541.50 and the Philips OnSite at $1,581.80 (AED Leader, 18 September 2026). By cost to own, the Lifeline’s 7-year battery gives it the lowest battery cost per year of the three. Compare all three in our business package guide.[1][2]
