The training pads connect only to the Trainer (not the live FRx) and the Trainer device itself does not produce rescue-capable energy. Using training pads in an emergency would result in no shock delivery and a failed rescue. Always stock authentic SMART Pads II in your live FRx cabinet, separated visually from any training pad inventory you keep for instructor use.

Approximately 50–100 simulated rescue cycles depending on usage care. The adhesive degrades faster than the electronics; pads typically lose adhesion before the simulated signal degrades.
