Every refurbished horror story fails one of the checks below, usually in the first group. Work through them against any listing, print the page for procurement, and email the seller the six questions at the bottom. A documented recertifier passes all twelve without friction; a flipper stalls by check three.

  2. What are the battery and pad expiry dates shipping with this exact unit?
  3. What does the written warranty cover, and for how long?
  4. Is this model free of open FDA recalls, and is its software current?
  5. What post-sale support do you provide, and how do I reach it?
  6. Can you provide the unit’s serial number before purchase?

One documented exception with a written explanation can be acceptable; friction or vagueness on the seller-group checks is disqualifying. The price being wonderful does not repair a failed check three.
