- 🎯 The Editorial Verdict
Overview
These adult electrode pads are designed for use with Physio-Control LIFEPAK AED systems. They provide the critical connection between the AED device and the patient during a sudden cardiac arrest emergency, transmitting the electrical therapy needed to restore a normal heart rhythm.
Compatible AED Models
These pads are designed for use with compatible LIFEPAK AED models, including the LIFEPAK CR Plus and LIFEPAK EXPRESS. Verify compatibility with your specific LIFEPAK model before ordering.
When to Replace
Replace electrode pads after each use on a patient, regardless of whether a shock was delivered. Also, replace pads when the expiration date printed on the packaging has passed, or when the AED’s status indicator signals that pad replacement is needed.
Shelf Life and Storage
Store pads in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight. Check the expiration date printed on the pad packaging and plan to order replacements before that date to avoid any gap in device readiness.

Frequently asked questions.
QUIK-PAK vs QUIK-STEP — what's the difference?
QUIK-PAK is the adult-only pad for the LIFEPAK 1000 (pro / EMS device). QUIK-STEP is the universal adult+pediatric pad for the LIFEPAK CR2 (consumer / lay). Different devices, different patient workflows, different connectors. QUIK-PAK requires separate Infant/Child Pads for pediatric coverage on the 1000. QUIK-STEP handles both ages via a Child Mode button on the CR2 itself. Confirm device model before ordering — wrong-SKU is the most common LIFEPAK refill mistake despite both being Stryker / Physio-Control brand.
Will QUIK-PAK fit my CR2?
No — QUIK-PAK pads are LIFEPAK 1000 only. The LIFEPAK CR2 uses QUIK-STEP universal pads, which have a different connector and a different patient workflow (universal adult + pediatric via device button). Forcing QUIK-PAK into a CR2 will cause connection failures. For CR2 owners, always order QUIK-STEP. For 1000 owners, always order QUIK-PAK + separate pediatric SKU. Stryker’s LIFEPAK naming is confusing — the “QUIK” prefix doesn’t mean cross-compatible.
